Tuesday, August 26, 2025. Chump tries to fund raise off the claim
that he wants to go to heaven, he makes crackpot claims regarding ABC
and NBC, he can't get a handle on covering his bald spot, he continues
to work on defending the convicted sex trafficker and pedophile and not
on protecting her victims. Time and again where there's a line, Chump
ends up on the wrong side of it.
Scum of the earth and convicted felon Donald Chump took time out yesterday from persecuting people to send him money. Sarah Rumpf (MEDIAITE) reports:
President
Donald Trump’s PAC sent out a fundraising email Monday with a message
from the president declaring he believes “God saved me for one reason”
and that he wants “to try and get to Heaven.”
The
email was sent by Never Surrender, Inc., the leadership PAC formerly
known as Donald J. Trump for President 2024, Inc., Monday morning with
the subject line, “I want to try and get to Heaven,” repeating that line
in a bold blue typeface at the top of the message text.
Chump's not going to heaven. Because he's a sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot?
Bingo!
He
goes on about God saved him last year from an assassination attempt.
He says God wanted him to save America. Don't pin your crimes on Jesus
Christ. When God saves someone's life, most people generally assume it
was to give them a second chance to repent. Chump's failed to repent.
He's caused tremendous pain. He steals money and grifts. No, Chump,
you're not going to heaven. You're going to hell and you will burn
there. And you'll deserve to spend eternity in hell due to your
actions.
People were not amused by his blasphemy as evidenced by so many comments on the article.

I
don't think kicking people off of their health insurance, cutting their
supplementation for basic food, bullying and threatening people,
belittling people and calling them names, denying due process, not
following the laws of this country, chronic lying, cheating, stealing,
conflicts of interest, abusing children, women; firing people
indiscriminately and not in accordance with law and standard procedures,
disrespecting and insulting veterans, both still alive and deceased,
taking health care assistance away from the poorest countries, stealing
from the taxpayers, manipulating the markets for personal gain, living
as a racist, not following the US Constitution as sworn in your oath
office (however, hand never touched the Bible). This list and the
countless other despicable actions you have made will NOT get you into
heaven. I'm absolutely positive of this. Good Luck.

God gave the commandments to Moses.
He said to follow them all or perish.
How many does Mr Trump follow,
how many has he not followed.

Dear Leader...there is a special place in Hell reserved just for you.
When the man who embodies all 7 deadly sins, lust, gluttony, greed,

Apparently,
his god saved him for many reasons, to keep lying and treating people
like trash, to destroy hard working people's live by firing them if they
disagree with him, to close down and cut jobs in needed service
departments, to kick many people off of healthcare, to investigate and
punish his enemies, to take over our cities with his military coup and
to suck up to dictators that don't care how many they kill. Any wonder
who his god really is? So, no Mr. President you will not get into "our"
heaven because your soul is already spoken for.

Trump
will say and do anything - even use God - to get more money out of his
MAGAs. How hilarious to believe that if they give money to Trump, he can
go to heaven. (there is zero possibility that Trump will go to heaven).
This is the way all con men work; they drain the fool's bank
accounts until there is nothing left. And the fools can't believe they
were so foolish. They need to open their eyes to this scam.
He's a billionaire - why does he need their money so badly? How can
any person of faith even consider the idea that Trump will go to heaven?
Do they think Hitler went to heaven???

He's thinking about death because it nears.
On Monday, while saying he wanted to go to heaven, Chump yet again demonstrated why he won't be going. Megan Lebowitz (NBC NEWS) reports:
President Donald Trump on Monday said he would target former President Joe Biden's circle, calling them "evil people."
"There
were some brilliant people," Trump said, referring to Biden's allies in
his White House. "But they’re evil people, and they’re going to be
brought down. They have to be brought down 'cause they really hurt our
country."
Trump's threat to have his political
opponent's allies "brought down" marks his latest move to potentially
target political adversaries in a pattern that has alarmed critics who
paint the president as pursuing retribution and say he is weaponizing
the Justice Department — a claim the president has made about the Biden
administration.
He is going to abuse his position and bring down Biden advisors?
Hmm. Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord. Remember that? Because Chump doesn't. Here's GOOGLE AI explaining what that means:
"Vengeance
is mine, saith the Lord" is a biblical declaration found in Deuteronomy
32:35 and Romans 12:19, meaning that God alone has the right to seek
and deliver vengeance. It is a warning against personal revenge and an
instruction to trust in God's perfect, righteous justice, rather than
taking matters into one's own hands. Instead of seeking retaliation,
believers are encouraged to show kindness and goodness to their enemies,
thereby demonstrating God's love.
Here's Ben (MEIDASTOUCH NEWS) giving a reading on the mood of the country.
America's
democratic foundations have collapsed, according to journalist Garrett
Graff. The United States has crossed the threshold into authoritarianism
under President Trump's second term. From military occupations of
opposition-led cities to arbitrary detentions and corporate extortion,
the U.S. is looking a lot like Germany in 1933.
Military occupation of cities: "American fascism looks like the president using armed military units from governors loyal to his regime to seize cities run by opposition political figures"
Threats against states: "Word came over the weekend that the president is now drawing up plans and explicitly threatening domestic political opponents like the governors of California and Illinois with similar military occupations"
Arbitrary stops and ID checks: "America has become a country where armed officers of the state shout "Papers please!"
on the street at men and women heading home from work, a vision we
associate with the Gestapo in Nazi Germany or the KGB in Soviet Russia"
When
he's not putting the country at risk by breaking the laws and attacking
democracy, he's putting us at risk by his incompetence and that of his
appointees. Tim Reid (REUTERS) reports:
Nearly
three dozen staff at the U.S. agency that responds to natural disasters
warned Congress in a letter on Monday that the inexperience of the
Trump administration's top appointees could lead to a catastrophe on the
level of Hurricane Katrina.
The
letter, signed by 35 named employees at the Federal Emergency
Management Agency, was a rare airing of internal dissent at FEMA. It
said the agency's current leaders, including Homeland Security Secretary
Kristi Noem and acting FEMA director David Richardson, lacked the
qualifications to manage natural disasters and were eroding its ability
to respond to hurricanes and other emergencies.
Noem's
requirement that she review all contracts and grants over $100,000
"reduces FEMA's authorities and capabilities to swiftly deliver our
mission," the letter states.
On the off chance Donald Trump's bleaching schedule didn't spell it out for you, the president is pretty precious about his hair. In fact, his obsession with having his hair look a certain way
has reportedly become incredibly volatile in the past. For that reason,
when he does look a little more gray, or seems to have a bald spot or
two, we can't help but point it out notice ... and as it turns out, 2025
has had a number of very noticeable moments.
We'll start with the ultra-thin 'do he donned for the 2025 Super Bowl in February.
Although from the front the newly inaugurated president didn't seem to
have too fine a mop, snaps of him from behind showed the unmistakable
pink glow of his scalp. Considering he was once said to have had his
scalp dyed specifically so no one would see that telltale glow, we'll
file this under "Oops."
Let's
leave his bald spot to go to another Chump embarrassment: Ghislaine
Maxwell. Chump has the government trying to rehab the image of a
convicted sex trafficker and pedophile. Nothing he's done has been
about the victims of Maxwell. It has been all about making life better
for Ghislaine.
Meanwhile
releasing the entire transcript of the hours of talks with Maxwell
means that they have no plan to charge her with anything. See video
below.
While
most Americans scratch their heads over Chump and Maxwell's sketchy
behavior, Jim Jordan's all aboard with the nothing-to-see-here clatch.
Steve Benen (MADDOW BLOG, MSNBC) notes that
accused sex crime enabler US House Rep Jim Jordan should be the last
one to speak in defense of convicted sex trafficker and pedophile
Ghislaine Maxwell:
There are a couple of problems here.
The
first is Jordan’s eagerness to trust the word of a convicted sex
trafficker who is looking for a pardon. I can appreciate why Trump’s
sycophantic allies are eager to make the Epstein scandal go away, but to
pretend that Maxwell has credibility and her claims should be accepted
at face value is ridiculous.
The second problem
is that Jordan isn’t exactly the Republican Party’s best messenger on
this issue. After all, as NBC News reported over the course of several
years, the right-wing congressman was accused of turning a blind eye to
sexual misconduct targeting student athletes at Ohio State during
Jordan’s tenure as an assistant coach.
Know
your lane, Jordan. He is credibly accused by many male
athletes as having enabled sexual assaults at Ohio State Univeristy. Not only
has this not gone away, He's also had to give another deposition just
last month. Julie Carr Smyth (AP) reported July 22nd:
Republican
U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan was among those questioned under oath this month
about the sexual abuse of Ohio State University athletes decades ago by a
team doctor, according to a court filing.
Jordan’s
deposition Friday came in a federal lawsuit brought by former student
athletes against the university over its failure to stop abuse by Dr.
Richard Strauss, who died in 2005. Hundreds say they were abused by
Strauss, who worked at the school from 1978 to 1998.
Many
ex-wrestlers over the years have accused Jordan, who served as
assistant coach of the Ohio State wrestling team from 1986 to 1994, of
knowing about the abuse and failing to act.
”In
July, four former Ohio State University wrestlers alleged in lawsuits
that Jordan, then an assistant wrestling coach from 1986 to 1994, failed
to protect them from the team's doctor, Richard Strauss, who later
faced widespread accusations of sexual misconduct.
According
to these plaintiffs, it would have been impossible for Jordan to be
unaware of Strauss’s actions, which they said were “common knowledge”
within the wrestling program.
One former
wrestler, Dunyasha Yetts, recounted reporting an uncomfortable physical
exam to Jordan and the head coach at the time; according to Yetts, they
subsequently spoke with Strauss about the incident.
Jordan has denied any knowledge of abuse during his tenure, stating that no one ever reported such behavior to him.
Meanwhile, his Saturday remarks about Maxwell's testimony were mocked on social media.
Political
commentator Brian Cohen wrote on the social platfom X: "If you can
trust anyone when it comes to exposing pedophilia, it’s Jim Jordan."
Writer
Michael Freeman said: "You can’t make this up. Congressman who turned a
blind eye to sexual abuse endorses claims by perpetrator of sexual
abuse."
Author John Pavlovitz said: "There has never been a better friend to pedophiles than @Jim_Jordan."
Niels
Groenveld wrote: "Pathetic take. Ghislaine Maxwell is a convicted sex
trafficker, not a beacon of truth. Treating her word as exoneration is
like boasting a serial killer vouched for your innocence. How much
longer can Jordan keep humiliating himself groveling for Trump?"
Fortunately, HBO started airing a strong, new documentary last week
SURVIVING OHIO STATE. The documentary about the assault and abuse of
male athletes at Ohio State for several decades is produced by Eva
Orner (who also directed), David Glasser, George Clooney, Grant Heslov,
Joshua Rofe and Steven J. Berger.
Survivors talk on
camera about how they were abused and assaulted by Dr Richard Strauss.
They talk about it and they talk about how wrestling coach Russ
Hellickson and assistant coach Jim Jordan knew about the abuse and
laughed at it and looked the other way. Multiple players discuss how
they went to Hellickson and asked him to stand with them as they went
public and he said he would. But Jim wouldn't. Jim was now US House
Rep Jim Jordan. Suddenly, Russ wanted nothing to do with the men that
he had hailed as his sons and Jim was too busy doing things like calling
one of the accusers brothers up on the phone and begging him -- in
tears -- to come forward and accuse his brother of lying in order to
save Jim's reputation.
Watching, we were reminded of a
man who was the envy of a huge number of straight men at one point
because of whom he was married to. The man who is still alive was a
college athlete in another state in an earlier time and he was pimped
out to men. He even managed to turn it into a career starter. And he
was happy to do it because he says he's bi (he's gay). He'll be dead
soon and he'll die a disgrace (he's already disgraced himself once this
year).
He was able to get away with his act because of
attitudes about gay people. He didn't seem gay, right? And athletes
are big and strong.
Male.
Male athletes are
meat. That's the attitude. They can endure anything. They can take
being ripped off by universities that basically own their bodies for
four years. They can take this and that. And nobody better ever
complain because you're not supposed to think, you're supposed to be an
animal -- on the field and off.
"Our coaches knew," one survivor
explains in the new documentary. Another explains, "We had guys
complaining about Dr. Strauss to Jim Jordan."
A female coach did take it seriously and did lodge complaints and concerns about what Strauss was doing with the young men.
What was he doing?
"One of the wrestlers said, 'Dude, why does this guy have to constantly check our nuts, check our dicks."
Another
explains how Jim Jordan at one point says, "If he ever did that to me,
I'd snap his neck like a stick of dry balsa wood."
At other times, the future member of Congress downplayed it. He told one wrestler, "It's Strauss. You know what he does."
And
this came in reply to the wrestler complaining that the team doctor was
now in the locker room with the team, taking showers with the team,
masturbating in the showers.
He was allowed a locker in every
male team's locker room. He took several showers a day. When he would
shower, he wouldn't turn to the wall where the nozzle was, he'd put his
back to the wall so he could study the young males. As one survivor
explains, "He's showering three times a day. He's sporting erections.
He's masturbating."
And Jim Jordan and Russ Hellickson looked the
other way. They were supposed to protect the students. They were
legally obligated to protect them -- in loco parentis. They failed.
And, years later, they won't grow the hell up and admit that they failed
these men.
They always knew and they looked the other way.
A
survivor explains he goes to Strauss and tells the doctor, "'My foot is
sore. My foot is sore.' And the first thing he says to me is 'Drop
your trousers'." Another explains, "I got in there and showed him my
bleeding ear and the first thing Dr Strauss said was, 'Drop your
shorts'."
Documentaries, when they're truthful, can make a
difference. The Ohio State athletes never really had their day in the
court of public opinion because this was the first case that really
addressed how colleges and universities prey on young men. They make
millions off them but will dump them in a minute due to a sports'
injury. The survivors of Strauss talk about being on scholarships and
how Strauss and his 'physicals' decided whether or not they played.
We're not used to seeing the college 'beasts' as potential victims.
They had that wall to break through with this scandal.
Their stories are consistent and address what they witnessed and what they experienced.
That's
the great thing about truth -- it usually comes out. Sometimes it
comes out too late. Sometimes, it's dismissed initially. But it does
usually come out and it slowly leaks into our national consciousness and
national conversation.
Former
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie slammed comments from Jeffrey Epstein
accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell in which she said President Donald Trump
was not guilty of any wrongdoing and praised him as "cordial" and
"kind."
"She might as well have taken out
Donald Trump, or President Trump, and said, 'The man who can pardon me
has never done anything wrong. The man who can pardon me has always been
wonderful," Christie, a rare vocal critic of Trump in the Republican
party, told ABC's "This Week" on Aug. 24.
"I don't
think Donald Trump had anything to do with Jeffrey Epstein that was
untoward or illegal, but we're going to believe Ghislaine Maxwell?"
Christie asked. "Give me a break."
And that attitude of "give me a break" echoes what a lot of Americans are feeling right now. Caroline Vakil (THE HILL) notes:
An
overwhelming majority of voters said transparency in the Jeffrey
Epstein case is important to their views on President Trump, according
to a new poll.
A Harvard CAPS/Harris poll
released Monday found 65 percent of respondents said transparency around
the case of the disgraced financier is important to their opinion of
Trump, while 22 percent said it is not important.
A separate 13 percent said they did not know or were unsure.
The
poll also found that about 2 in 5 respondents were unsatisfied with
Trump’s handling of the case’s investigation: 42 percent of respondents
rated Trump as “poor” over his handling of the case’s investigation,
while 18 percent rated him as “excellent,” a separate 16 percent said
“good” and 13 percent rated Trump as “fair.”
Playing games and trying to trick Americans doesn't add up to Chump being transparent. Anna Commander (NEWSWEEK) notes, "Democratic
Congressman Robert Garcia of California on X on Monday: 'We reviewed
33,000 pages of documents related to the Epstein files -- 97% of them
were are already public. It's clear the White House cover-up continues.
Pam Bondi could release the full Epstein files today, but she refuses to
do so. What are they hiding?'"
President Trump issued some late-night threats to ABC and NBC, accusing both of bias and threatening their broadcast licenses.
・In
one post, he suggested the networks functioned as "an arm of the
Democratic party" and "should, according to many, have their licenses
revoked by the FCC. I would be totally in favor of that because they are
so biased and untruthful, an actual threat to our Democracy!"
・Short
of having the Federal Communications Commission pull their licenses—the
president does not appear to have the authority to do that— Trump wrote
they should at least "pay up BIG for having the privilege of using the
most valuable airwaves anywhere at anytime!" Such a fee could be
millions per year, he added, backing an idea previously endorsed by Elon
Musk, notes Forbes.
America
has been repeatedly rescued this year by Chump's stupidity. His
ignorance of the law or even the most basic things has repeatedly
thwarted him. And does so now. Solcyré Burga (TIME) explains:
The
FCC only licenses “individual broadcast systems,” however, not networks
such as ABC and NBC, as the agency notes. The FCC is also barred under
the First Amendment and the federal law that created the agency from
dictating what programming networks air.
Broadcast
stations can violate FCC rules if they knowingly publish false
information which then results in “substantial public harm” that was
“foreseeable,” or if direct evidence shows them intentionally “rigging
or slanting” the news, the agency says. But the FCC also generally does
not engage with complaints alleging“one-sided news reports or comments,”
it says, because doing so would be “inconsistent with the First
Amendment to replace the journalistic judgment of licensees with our
own.”
The President’s recent comments add to his
previous calls for networks to lose their broadcast licenses—including
both ABC and NBC. Past heads of the agency have pushed back on those
threats and emphasized the limits of the FCC’s authority.
“Under
the law, the FCC does not have the authority to revoke a license of a
broadcast station based on the content of a particular newscast,”
then-agency Chair Ajit Pai said in 2017, after Trump suggested
challenging NBC’s license over a report regarding the President’s
relationship with his national security advisers.
“As
I’ve said before, the First Amendment is a cornerstone of our
democracy. The FCC does not and will not revoke licenses for broadcast
stations simply because a political candidate disagrees with or dislikes
content or coverage,” then-Chair Jessica Rosenworcel said last year,
after Trump indicated CBS News should lose its license over its editing
of a “60 Minutes” interview with 2024 Democratic presidential candidate
Kamala Harris.
America’s key swing voters are moving away from President Trump and his policies, according to veteran pollster Larry Sabato.
Appearing
on CNN Newsroom, Sabato highlighted that just over six months into
Trump’s second term, his approval among independents has cratered,
pulling his overall job rating deep underwater.
“But if
you’ve noticed the pattern in public opinion polls, and you have to
look across all the polls, not just focus on one or two or three that
please you, you can see that independents have actually broken pretty
substantially against Trump,” the media regular, who runs Sabato’s
Crystal Ball, an online newsletter and website that gives electoral
projections, told host Jessica Dean.
“They‘re
the main reason why his job approval is now in the low to mid-40s. He
hasn‘t been over 50 really since the very beginning of his presidency.
That is the best signal of what is likely to happen in the midterm
elections—job approval for the incumbent president.”
Let's wind down with Senator Tammy Duckworth.
And let's note this press release that her office released Sunday:
U.S. Senator and combat Veteran Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) issued the
following statement today amid reports that the Trump Administration is
planning another inappropriate deployment of American troops into
American cities, this time to Chicago, without coordinating with state
or local officials and despite the state not requesting any deployment:
“It comes as no surprise Donald Trump is once again attacking
Chicago, but that doesn’t change that Trump’s continuing pattern of
politicizing and misusing our nation’s military for his own partisan
gain and to crush dissent is deeply disturbing, is un-American and has
no place in any of our cities.
“We know this isn’t about ‘law and order’ because Trump is
once again refusing to coordinate with state and local officials. And if
he really cared about ‘health and safety,’ he wouldn’t have cut
millions of dollars in gun violence prevention funding just weeks ago.
This is just another attempt to distract the American people from the
price increases his own policies are causing and the various personal
scandals he wants to change the subject from.
“Forcing the military, uninvited, into Chicago to intimidate
Americans in their own communities does not make our nation stronger, it
simply distracts the military from executing its core mission of
keeping Americans safe from real adversaries who wish us harm.
“It’s yet another unwarranted, unwanted and unjust move
straight out of the authoritarian’s playbook that will only undermine
our military’s readiness and ultimately weaken our national security.”
In
a 5-4 decision, the Supreme Court allowed the Trump administration to
block nearly $783 million in National Institutes of Health research
funding, citing the administration's opposition to projects supporting
diversity, equity, and inclusion.
According to
NPR, Robert F. Kennedy Jr, Trump's Secretary of Health and Human
Services, instructed the NIH in February to reevaluate all grants that
either funded or supported anything that could be considered "DEI and
gender identity research activities and programs," this also extended to
projects regarding "vaccine hesitancy," and the impact of the pandemic,
which the NIH said had outlived their "limited purpose."
After
this move, 16 states, advocacy organizations and researchers sued
Kennedy and the NIH arguing that the termination of the grants was
unconstitutional. A federal district judge agreed with their argument,
ruling that the termination of the grants was based on "no reasoned
decision-making."
Furthermore, Judge William
Young upbraided the NIH for breaking its "historical norm of a largely
apolitical scientific research agency," Young, a Ronald Reagan
appointee, also noted in his comments at the hearing, "I've never seen
government racial discrimination like this. Have we no shame?"
However,
the Supreme Court rendered this judgment invalid at the request of the
Trump administration, which prompted a sharp dissent from Justice
Ketanji Brown Jackson.
"In a
broader sense, however, today's ruling is of a piece with this Court's
recent tendencies. [R]ight when the Judiciary should be hunkering down
to do all it can to preserve the law's constraints, the Court opts
instead to make vindicating the rule of law and preventing manifestly
injurious Government action as difficult as possible…This is Calvinball
jurisprudence with a twist. Calvinball has only one rule: there are no
fixed rules. We seem to have two: that one, and this administration
always wins," she wrote.
The corrupt court cannot stop betraying the American people. We have three justices concerned with precedent and rule of law.
The rest? Working to destroy our country.
Biden
should have packed the Court. This is nonsense -- the rulings from the
Roberts Court. They are not concerned with doing the right thing or
upholding the law, there only concern is serving Donald Chump.
There
aren't many activists who have directly influenced the course of the
United States more than Leonard Leo. The right-wing money man and
longtime Federalist Society honcho effectively built the
conservative-dominated Supreme Court, feeding Donald Trump the justices
who would go on to overturn Roe v. Wade and grant the chronically
corrupt president immunity from prosecution.
Leo
and his dark money network have continued to spend millions to advance
his conservative agenda. He tried to get Will Scharf - who just so
happened to represent Trump in his immunity case before the Supreme
Court - elected attorney general of Missouri last year. Scharf lost in
the Republican primary to Andrew Bailey, whom Trump tapped this week to
become a deputy director at the FBI. Scharf is also now a member of the
Trump administration, serving as a White House staff secretary, along
with a cadre of Trump's other personal lawyers.
Trump
lashed out at Leo in May, calling him a "sleazebag" who "probably hates
America," ostensibly because the judicial nominees Leo recommended
weren't sufficiently willing to bend the law in Trump's favor. The
Supreme Court justices have been much more compliant of late - and Leo
is still doing what he can to ensure the president can impose his will
on the United States.
Over the
past year, Leo's new dark money node, the Lexington Fund, has poured $2
million into First Principles PAC, part of a series of groups that use
some variation of that moniker, and were all registered in Tennessee
last November. These First Principles groups, led by a former top Leo
deputy, have been spending big on key races across the nation.
First
Principles PAC, for example, funded another group called First
Principles Wisconsin, which pumped over $600,000 into the critical
Wisconsin Supreme Court election. The group spent the spring buying ads
and robocalls on a race that saw Elon Musk contributing $20 million in
an effort to secure conservative control of the state's highest court.
It was the most expensive judicial race in U.S. history, one that the
Democratic-endorsed Susan Crawford wound up winning relatively easily -
despite the tens of millions in right-wing money spent to defeat her.
And that's why these justices like Clarence Thomas and the rest are such garbaged -- they've all been bought and paid for.
Monday, August 25, 2025. The rotting of the president -- Chump's flesh
is physically rotting before our eyes as he continues the Epstein cover
up, as he continues his war on history, as he continues his war on
immigrants, and as he continues his war on democracy and the United
States of America.
Let's stat with Ben and MEIDASTOUCH NEWS catching us up from Friday.
JD Wolf (MTN) notes,
"Trump slipped out again Sunday for an unlisted trip to his Virginia
golf
club -- his second in as many days. Like other golf excursions, the
travel, staffing, and security costs add up to millions for taxpayers."
While wasting tax payer money usually puts a smile on Chump's face,
this time his little trip resulted in his exposing more of how his body
is rotting before our eyes. Erkki Forster (DAILY BEAST) reports:
A
new bruise has appeared on President Donald Trump’s left hand, adding
to the one he’s had on his right hand for months, amid mounting
questions about his health.
The
79-year-old president hit the links with former Major League Baseball
player Roger Clemens and his son Kacy at Trump National Golf Club in
Virginia on Saturday. The fresh mark was spotted in a video Kacy posted
to Instagram on Sunday titled “A Day on the Course with The President.”
At
one point in the video, as the camera pans to Trump overlooking his
course, the back of his left hand comes into view, showing a dark
discoloration nearly identical in placement to the one on his right
hand.
He's rotting before our eyes.
And Ben noted he can't walk in a straight line and is dragging one foot
behind him as he moved on the golf course. Over the weekend, Molly Byrne (OK!) noted:
Donald Trump’s flesh-colored concealer has returned.
The
president was seen leaving The People’s House: A White House Exhibit on
Friday, August 22, when reporters snapped photos of his right hand with
a blotch of unblended makeup.
Trump,
79, put on a brave face for the public, but under his concealer-covered
hand is a permanent reminder to the politician that his days as a
brisk, vigorous alpha are materializing before his eyes.
The president hasn’t confirmed why he smears the top of his hand with
makeup; however, instances of the concerning nature continue to arise
after it was revealed in July that he was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency.
President Donald Trump
might act like he is ever young and is fit like he can do anything, but
people can’t deny nature’s work. He still is an exception though. At 79
years of age, he has achieved the record of being the oldest person
ever to become the president of the country, and on top of that, if he
stays at the White House
until August 15, 2028, he will set another major record of being the
oldest sitting U.S. president in history. That would surpass every
commander-in-chief before him.
However, keeping his victory aside, which earned him a second
Presidential term, Trump was seen relentlessly questioning his
predecessor, Joe Biden,
concerning his age and fitness for office, but it now seems like his
criticism has boomeranged on him. His physical and cognitive health has
taken a toll from high talk with critics, even speculating that going
forward, this role might be a toll for him.
Trump has given multiple physical signs in his recent public appearances
that have eventually fueled the talk, which significantly circles
around a mysterious, lingering bruise on the back of his hand,
noticeably swollen ankles, and unexplained marks on his neck. Observers
say these aren’t just minor details — they’re visual cues that have many
questioning his condition behind closed doors.
He
is not long for this world. His damage will be felt for decades. His
criminal attempt to destroy our democracy will be remembered. History
will remember as the corrupt trash he was. That's all that will be
remembered about him. American children will be raised to scorn him for
decades after he's buried and gone to hell.
Russia
launched a rare drone and missile attack on western Ukraine overnight,
officials said Thursday, striking targets including an American-owned
electronics plant and injecting further uncertainty into the U.S.-led efforts to end the 3-year-old war.
The
aerial assault on a part of Ukraine that has largely not experienced
such focused attacks was one of Russia's biggest this year and came as
Moscow objects to key aspects of proposals that could end the fighting.
U.S. President Donald Trump discussed the war with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska last week before hosting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and European leaders at the White House on Monday.
Tuhin Das Mahapatra (HINDUSTAN TIMES) observes, "The factory belongs to Flex, a multinational electronics manufacturer
with over 100 facilities worldwide. Founded in the U.S., the company is
publicly listed on NASDAQ and is jointly headquartered in Austin, Texas,
and Singapore. Flex has operated its Mukachevo plant since 2012,
producing consumer appliances, not military equipment." Greg Myer (NPR) explains:
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was one of several officials
who took to social media to report the airstrike, saying at least 15
people were wounded.
In his post on the Telegram
messaging app, Zelenskyy called it an "ordinary civilian enterprise, an
American investment. They produced such familiar household items as
coffee machines."
The Ukrainian leader went on to say that the
Russian military "delivered this strike as if nothing had changed at
all. As if there were no efforts by the world to stop this war."
The company that was hit, Flex,
produces civilian electronic components and products with more than 100
offices and factories worldwide. The company was founded in the U.S.,
is listed on NASDAQ, and has headquarters in both Austin, Texas, and
Singapore. Flex did not immediately respond to emails seeking comment.
Videos
on social media showed thick black smoke rising from the company's
plant in the town of Mukachevo, near the border with Hungary.
Some
600 workers were on the job when the missiles struck before 5 a.m.,
said Myroslav Biletskyi, head of the regional military administration.
Before the attack, they heeded the air raid sirens and took cover in
secure areas, he noted, or the casualty toll would have been much
higher. He said about one-third of the massive plant burned down.
"This
enterprise exclusively produced household appliances. It never produced
any military equipment," Biletskyi said, adding that Flex had been
operating at the site since 2012.
"Russia continues to destroy
and humiliate U.S. businesses in Ukraine, targeting companies that
invest and trade on the U.S. stock markets," Andy Hunder, the president
of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, wrote on X. He said the factory was one of the largest U.S. investments in Ukraine by a private company.
Will history even remember Donald as a US president? Or will history just refer to him as "Putin's bitch"? Robert McCoy (THE NEW REPUBLIC) observes that Chump's response has been more delusional lies:
As Trump quickly
changed the subject Friday, he resorted to his oft-repeated lie about
having ended several wars during his second term. The president had
previously said he ended six of them. Recently, he added a mysterious seventh conflict to that claim.
“I
settled seven wars,” Trump continued Friday, before loosening the
criteria for the tally in order to bolster the figure. “Actually, if you
think about pre-wars, add three more, so it would be 10.”
Lies
is all Chump offers. Take his longterm friendship with pedophile and
sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein is dead. His partner,
convicted pedophile and sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, whispered for
two days to Deputy AG Todd Blanche and got what she wanted, transferred
to Club Fed -- a facility her crimes do not allow her to be in.
Everyone knows she's whore, everyone knows she's a liar.
He's not having much luck fooling people about his relationships with
dead convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and convicted pedophile and
sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell. Ailia Zehra notes:
On Saturday, Rep. Robert Garcia (D‑Calif.), the ranking Democrat on the
House Oversight Committee, criticized the latest production, noting that
the vast majority of the more than 30,000 pages delivered on Friday
were already publicly available.
"In
fact, to answer the most pressing Epstein-related questions, the people
you would want to speak with would probably include — in no particular
order — Trump himself, Bondi, Patel, Blanche, FBI Deputy Director Dan
Bongino and Alex Acosta, who negotiated the sweetheart 2007 plea deal
with Epstein while serving as U.S. attorney for the Southern District of
Florida," the article said.
"You
might even call these bizarro investigations. They do not appear to be
asking the right questions or talking to the right people to address the
things that the average American might actually want to know."
As
Ben noted at the video at the top of this snapshot, 97% of the
documents 'released' on Friday were already available to the public.
People are right to be outraged. Belén Fernández (ALJAZEERA) adds, "Never mind Maxwell’s reputation as a serial liar who was charged with
two counts of perjury for lying under oath – charges that were dropped
following her conviction on other counts. Surely the obsequious tribute
to Trump’s allegedly upstanding nature has nothing to do with the fact
that Maxwell is presently seeking a presidential pardon from the same
man." Robert Davis observes, "Jeffrey Epstein's
co-conspirator appears to be trying to con GOP lawmakers with the same
strategy she used to victimize multiple young girls, according to one
expert. Jess Michaels, a survivor of Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell's crimes, told Aaron Parnas on his Substack, 'The Parnas Perspective,' that Maxwell is trying to play up her submissive femininity to earn favorable treatment from the Trump administration and congressional lawmakers. Michaels said on Sunday that this is the same strategy she used to lure victims." Kelly Rissman (INDEPENDENT) reports:
Democratic
lawmakers and the families of Jeffrey Epstein’s victims are outraged
over the Trump administration’s latest “distraction” after the Department of Justice released transcripts and audio recordings from its interview with Ghislaine Maxwell.
Those meetings, Giuffre’s family says, gave the 63-year-old convicted sex trafficker a “platform to rewrite history.”
“The
content of these transcripts is in direct contradiction with felon
Ghislaine Maxwell’s conviction for child sex trafficking,” the family
said in a statement.
“This travesty of justice entirely invalidates the experiences of the
many brave survivors who put their safety, security, and lives on the
line to ensure her conviction, including our sister.”
Congressional
Democrats also criticized Maxwell’s interview with deputy attorney
general Todd Blanche, a former defense attorney for Donald Trump, with
one lawmaker branding the release of the transcript an attempt to
“distract” from a “White House cover-up.”
And Chump can body hump pedophile Maxwell all he wants, the truth is known. And it's about to become even more well known. Hillel Italie explains:
A posthumous and “unsparing” memoir by one of Jeffrey Epstein's most prominent accusers, Virginia Giuffre, will be published this fall, publishing house Alfred A. Knopf said Sunday.
Nobody's Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice is scheduled for release October 21, the publisher confirmed to the Associated Press.
Giuffre, who died by suicide in April at age 41, had been working on Nobody's Girl
with author-journalist Amy Wallace and had completed the manuscript for
the 400-page book, according to Knopf. The publisher's statement
includes an email from Giuffre to Wallace a few weeks before her death,
saying that it was her “heartfelt wish” the memoir be released “regardless” of her circumstances.
“The
content of this book is crucial, as it aims to shed light on the
systemic failures that allow the trafficking of vulnerable individuals
across borders,” the email reads. “It is imperative that the truth is
understood and that the issues surrounding this topic are addressed,
both for the sake of justice and awareness.”
Holly Baltz (PALM BEACH POST) observes, "The Jeffrey Epstein case, though nearly two decades old since his arrest in 2006, shows no sign of stopping as President Donald Trump
faces continual political fallout over his administration's refusal to
release the huge amount of information it holds about several
investigations into one of the world's worst ever sexual predators."
In other news, while Donald Chump spends much of his time trying to erase history, he just keeps teaching it. For example, Naomi LaChance (ROLLING STONE) reports:
The Trump administration opened an immigrant detention site at a former Japanese internment camp in Texas, leading to condemnation from politicians, advocacy groups, and descendants of survivors of the WWII-era program.
Fort Bliss, a military base headquartered in El Paso, is slated to be
the site of the largest federal detention center in the country. It
currently holds around 1,000 detainees, but it is expected to eventually
hold 5,000. Costing more than $1 billion in private contracts, it has also been used as a base for deportation flights.
The camp is reminiscent of “Alligator Alcatraz,” the Florida immigration detention facility that is slated
to be shut down soon, per a judge’s order. Like Alligator Alcatraz,
this makeshift tent facility forces detainees to endure soaring
temperatures, risking heat-related illnesses.
Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett said in a press release
that there were “disturbing parallels” with Japanese internment at Fort
Bliss. “Texas knows this history all too well, and we refuse to let it
happen again,” she said.
[. . .]
Fort Bliss previously held
up to 91 people of Japanese, German, and Italian descent in 1942 during
World War II according to the Densho Encyclopedia, which chronicles the
history of Japanese internment during the war. The facility had two
compounds surrounded by barbed wire with guard towers.
But stewards of Japanese American history, including the children and
grandchildren of those who were held in detention, are criticizing the
use of Fort Bliss and the plans to expand immigrant detention on
American military bases.
Fort Bliss was a "cog" in the United States
Japanese internment machine, said Brian Niiya, a historian and content
director at Densho, a nonprofit that chronicles Japanese American
internment.
Niiya's own grandfather, the
managing editor of a Japanese language newspaper, was arrested the night
of Japan's Pearl Harbor attack, on Dec. 7, 1941, in Honolulu and held
in six different internment camps over the next two years.
"It’s important to look to this past to maybe try to understand what’s
going on in the present and what the end results could be," he said.
This teachable history moment brought to you by the idiots Chump, Kristi Noem and Tom Holman.
Way
to go, Chump. His decision to use Fort Bliss could draw more attention
to the illegal internment of Japanese Americans throughout the country
in WWII than any Smithsonian exhibit.
Convicted
Felon Donald Chump can't help himself, he's a crook. And we all know
what Freud said about the criminal having a compulsion to confess.
Fort
Bliss is his confession that he is a War Criminal intent on disgracing
this country and attacking human rights. US House Rep Jasmine
Crockett's office issued the following on Thursday:
EL PASO, TX
— Today, Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (TX-30) joined the American
Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and immigrant rights advocates in El Paso
to condemn the Trump administration’s plan to convert Fort Bliss into
the nation’s largest immigration detention camp. The proposed tent
camp—projected to cost taxpayers $1.26 billion—could hold up to 5,000
people, exposing them to inhumane conditions.
More than 700
contract workers are already stationed at Fort Bliss. That’s proof Trump
is putting his friends first and turning detention into a payday.
Meanwhile, more than 1,000 people are being held without access to
something as basic as a legal library. This isn’t about safety or
justice. It’s about profit.
“What I saw today was a dangerous
misuse of military land and resources to cage human beings,” said Rep.
Crockett. “This attempt doesn't make our country safer, it wastes
taxpayer dollars, rips families apart, and takes us backwards as a
nation.”
Fort Bliss has a documented history of being used to
detain people unjustly, including Japanese Americans during World War
II. Rep. Crockett noted the disturbing parallels and vowed to continue
fighting against Trump’s attempts to repeat that history.
“Texas
knows this history all too well, and we refuse to let it happen again,”
Crockett added. “Instead of pouring millions into mass detention, we
should be fixing our broken immigration system in ways that respect
people’s rights and dignity.”
A Cato Institute analysis of government data in June found ICE was arresting four times more non-criminals each week on the streets than people with convictions. ICE's own data show that 45% of the roughly 59,000 people in custody in mid-August had no criminal record or charges.
Mike
Ishii, executive director and co-founder of Tsuru for Solidarity, an
immigrant rights advocacy group, said he sees parallels with the current
administration “coming in and removing people from their homes, from
their workplaces, often with no explanations.”
Ishii, whose family was held at the Minidoka concentration camp in Idaho, said, “Right now, it's very frightening for people,” he said. “In 1941, it was also frightening.”
Eighty years ago, Fort Bliss housed
dozens of people labeled "alien enemies" by the government in a
detention camp that included two compounds surrounded by double barbed
wire fences, according to Densho.
Yes,
we're back on an ugly page of history, one we all hoped we were long
finished with. But that's what happens when you staff an administration
with idiot, not just idiots though, idiots prone to cruelty. Jason Wilson (GUARDIAN) explains:
The US defense secretary, Pete Hegseth, has
repeatedly endorsed the Reformation Red Pill podcast, and has appeared
on four episodes. But the former pastor who hosts the show, and who
attends Hegseth’s theocratic
church, has voiced a range of extreme positions in recent months on
issues including Ice raids, capital punishment, the racist “great
replacement” theory, adultery and neo-Nazism.
The
revelations come on top of recent media reports focused on Hegseth also
boosting a video of Douglas Wilson and other Communion of Reformed
Evangelical Churches (CREC) pastors arguing that women should lose the
vote in the United States. They also follow previous revelations about
Hegseth’s links to or apparent sympathies for Christian nationalist positions.
Joshua
Haymes is a member of the CREC-aligned Pilgrim Hill Reformed Fellowship
(PHRF), and his podcasts advocate for the CREC’s moral and theological
positions. As the Guardian previously reported,
he once served as a pastoral intern at the church. Online he has
claimed that liberalism is a greater threat to the US than neo-Nazism,
and that the Bible is “pro-Ice raids”. On X, he has also advocated for
capital punishment for adultery and abortion, and appeared to call for
the drowning of LGBTQ+ Pride marchers.
[. . .]
Despite distancing himself from the PHRF, Haymes
regularly hosts Brooks Potteiger, the congregation’s pastor and
Hegseth’s closest spiritual adviser. Potteiger’s most recent appearance
was just over a week ago. Pottiger appears alongside Haymes in the
profile image for the podcast’s channel on YouTube, whose description
reads: “We created this podcast as a resource to serve you in your
reformation red pill journey.”
These
materials, mostly published since Hegseth was confirmed as secretary of
defense, underline the extreme Christian nationalist positions at
Pilgrim Hill, in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, the community within which
Hegseth acquired an 8,800 sq ft, $3.4m mansion in 2022.
And
in a functioning administration, that would be more than enough to
finally get Loose Lips Hegseth kicked out as Secretary of Defense.
But
this is the administration run by a convicted criminal so they're all
about keeping the worst of the worst in the administration in order to
carry out more crimes. The stupidity and lust for cruelty combine to
create a lot of laws broken by the corrupt administration. Gustavo Sagrero Álvarez (KUOW) reports:
The University of Washington’s Center for Human Rights is warning
that federal immigration action has crossed a new boundary and is now
breaking international humanitarian law.
The report zeroes in on 16 cases where people have been arrested
by government agents and held for extended periods of time without
access to a lawyer, or to the outside world. The legal term for such
detentions is “enforced disappearance.”
“What I'm talking about is cases where days or even weeks go by that
families still don't know where their loved one is,” said Center for
Human Rights Director Angelina Godoy.
All of the cases covered in the center’s report have connections to
Washington state. The people involved were either Washington residents,
they were held at federal facilities in the state, or they were deported
through Tacoma’s ICE immigrant lockup.
“The level of secrecy is what's different in these cases,” Godoy said.
The Department of Homeland Security admitted to what experts called a “violation” of federal law when pressed by a watchdog organization in late July, according to reporting from The New York Times Friday.
American
Oversight, a nonprofit watchdog group, filed a public records request
with DHS related to the deployment of National Guard troops in Los
Angeles in June. In a letter received by the organization on July 23,
however, the agency said it “no longer maintained” records –
specifically text messages from DHS officials and staff – as of April 9.
“(Text messages of top DHS officials) are records that must be preserved
and kept because they are created in the course of conducting
government business,” said Chioma Chukwu, executive director of American
Oversight, speaking with The New York Times.
“If
they are not preserving those records, or if they are making so they
cannot search for those records, that is a violation of the Federal
Records Act.”
The DHS’ failure to maintain communications as is required by law is not new under Trump’s two administrations.
A controversial immigration detention centre, nicknamed "Alligator Alcatraz" and located deep within Florida's
Everglades, faces an uncertain future after a federal judge issued a
preliminary injunction to halt its expansion and begin its closure.
US
District Judge Kathleen Williams formalised a temporary halt she had
imposed two weeks prior, amidst ongoing testimony in a multi-day
hearing. Environmental advocates had argued the facility violated
crucial environmental laws.
The state of Florida swiftly responded to the ruling, filing a notice of appeal on Thursday night.
"The
deportations will continue until morale improves," DeSantis spokesman
Alex Lanfranconi said in response to the judge's ruling.
The judge said she expected the population of the facility to decline within 60 days through the transferring of the detainees
to other facilities, and once that happened, fencing, lighting and
generators should be removed. She wrote the state and federal defendants
can't bring anyone other than those who are already being detained at
the facility onto the property. The order does not prohibit modification
or repairs to existing facilities, "which are solely for the purpose of
increasing safety or mitigating environmental or other risks at the
site.,"
Well maybe it can reopen in January 2029? Just in time to house Chump.
