posted an article about the tolerant “tweets” coming from the Mosque of Doom official Twitter account. Among the official “tweets” from the self-proclaimed paragons of tolerance were these questions to someone who uses the name “Amish”: “1. What are you doing on the computer? 2. That’s not very Amish 3. Shouldn’t you be making butter? ”
Such tolerance and sensitivity melts our hearts!
In another “tweet”, the person who authored the official Mosque of Doom response to an Ha’aretz article, declared: “On a side note, if Haaretz likes publishing fables, perhaps they could go back to the Yiddish ones with parables”
Such sensitivity! Such unifying rhetoric! How dare anyone question the motives of these Mosque of Doom advocates!
Soon after various websites (and Greg Gutfeld’s “Red Eye” TV show) discussed the offensive “tweets”, the up till then official responder to Ha’aretz, was declared an intern and “replaced”. The offensive “tweets” were wiped from the record, never to be seen again.
The Mosque of Doom builders are such great “uniters” that it is hard to track all their activities. Indeed, the Mosque of Doom builders are so busy uniting they cannot meet with the Governor of New York. “Mosque Developer Rejects Meeting With Paterson” blares the headline.
Are the Mosque of Doom builders refusing to meet with the Governor of New York because the governor is blind and black – or is it his breath? It certainly cannot be because the Mosque of Doom builders are intolerant and refuse dialog when their alleged raison d’etre is tolerance and dialogue.
The Mosque of Doom does have some friends. The Mosque of Doom friends are doing some rather astonishing business. So tolerant, or is it desperate, are the Doomers that they think George W. Bush will save their precious Mosque. This is the same George W. Bush that Obama Dimocrats think will save them in November because they plan to run the entire Obama Dimocratic Campaign as an anti George W. Bush referendum. But how can you run against George W. Bush by calling him a savior?
And now they depend on War Criminal Bush?
Think about that. Barack is making 2010 about 2004 (as he did in 2008). But Bush is out of office. The crook's been out for two years. It's time Barack demonstrated he could lead and stopped showing what a little baby he can be.
We need leadership and he can't give it to us. I am counting the days until the 2012 elections.
And as much as Barack gets on my nerves, the media's getting on it more.
This is from Media Bistro:
Mediaite's Steve Krakauer writes, "But this fantastic coverage also showed a cooperation at least on some level between NBC and MSNBC and elements in the Obama administration... some elements within the military, so by extension the Obama administration, clearly worked with NBC (and MSNBC) to let them have this exclusive."
NBC's technological capability to have the live satellite feed with Engel aboard the convoy out of the country was obviously a factor in whatever permissions the military granted NBC. In the middle of the Iraqi desert, that's no small feat and, as made clear by the military's comments, the Bloommobile, which was in use in the Gulf as recently as a month ago, was a big part of the network's request. "We're not the only ones embedded with this last brigade that had just left Iraq," Chuck Todd said on MSNBC. "In fact I think there are four or five other news organizations. We happen to be the only one that has the technology to bring these pictures to the world tonight live, of this brigade leaving. You do get the sense, Keith, that that is what wasn't fully comprehended [by the White House]."There is something so fishy about that arrangement and the spin it brought with it.
Elaine's amazing "Palin (classy), Emily's List (hypocrite)" is a must-read. So go read it!
