Cedric's "Dickless Alter's in love" and Wally's "THIS JUST IN! DICKLESS ALTER!" went up last night and others posting last night followed Rebecca and Betty's lead from earlier in the week ("scream" and "Halloween") by doing posts on scary movies in anticipation of Halloween on Monday. Isaiah's "The Unity Campaign" (The Birds), Ann's "4 men and Psycho," Ruth's "The Haunting," Marcia's "The Bad Seed," Stan's "Aliens," Kat's "Mothra vs. Godzilla," Trina's "Horror of Dracula," Mike's "The Omen," Betty's "Brian De Palma" and Rebecca's "empire of the ants."
Thursday nights, Whitney airs on NBC. It stars Whitney Cummings. She's a young woman who's live-in boyfriend is Alex and whose best friends are Lily and Roxanne. It's a very funny show. On the latest episode, Whitney and Alex were arguing and she couldn't take his tone. He denied having a tone so she went to his friend Mark who borrowed a camera from the police department and they waited to catch Alex.
Each time Whitney got close, something would interrupt. Or Alex would use the tone . . . in the hall away from the camera.
It was a really funny episode and everyone got a good moment. I really do like Mark. He's a little slow which makes him funny. It was good to see him and Whitney work together and then even funnier to see him quickly turn on her. One of the funniest non-Whitney moments had to be when Alex goes into Mark's apartment. Mark's big screen TV has the live feed from Whitney & Alex's apartment. So when Alex walks in, Mark tosses a blanket at the TV -- which does not cover it and never was going to. And then Mark sort of bobs and weaves in front of the large screen TV as if that's going to hide it. He quickly blames the whole thing on Whitney and how she forced him into it. (It was actually Mark's idea.) It was really funny.
I think this is my favorite new show of the season.
