Desperate Housewives? I liked last night's much better. Vanessa Williams was good again and the reason I'm watching the show (for the first time in my life). But I really enjoyed the whole show.
Terri Hatcher is just funny. When this show goes off, they need to put her in a comedy. She really is a delight to watch. She's Susan on this show and trying to earn needed money for her family so she wears scanty clothes and 'cleans' for the web camera. Her boyfriend or husband came home in the middle of her working and she had to close the laptop with her foot while distracting him. She was very funny.
Kimberly. That's what I call the redhead because she was Kimberly on Melrose. I don't know why you'd ever play another role after Kimberly. She was crazy and nice, a killer and a healer, the attacker and the wronged. It was a complex role and she was great in it.
On this show, her character needs to hop into bed with Brian Austin Greene already. And her son is gay so that's supposed to give her a pass on being a bitch but it doesn't with me. I find her especially offensive in her anti-gay scene.
The smart one, the Eddie Falco one, she was a lot more enjoyable this episode (Vanessa's best friend). But I feel like there are too many characters.
There's a new woman, supposedly the wife of someone the whole neighborhood, and she married the guy while he was in prison and won't have sex with him now that he's out. Asked about that, she says she never expected him to be released.
That leaves Gabby who needs her own little spin-off. And I'm sorry, I know everyone was hoh-hoh-hot over Miguel from Passions when he was on this show. But I think Gabriel's husband is a better looking man.
The second episode went a lot better. Probably because I knew more about the characters this time around.
