Alex was in puppy heaven. (Or, as he said, a cloud of puppies.) And he never noticed how much Whitney was biting her tongue with regards to the woman who ran the animal rescue center. My favorite moment was when Whitney crossed herself and then threw out her chest in an aggressive move. It was funny.
The whole show was. The dog they ended up getting died. And if you think that's sad, it is. But a really good show can make you go from sad to funny -- think when Chuckles the Clown died on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show."
And Mark had some funny moments including insisting to Neal and Roxanne that their accidental kiss and Roxanne accidentally touching Neal's package through his pants weren't accidents. Seconds later, he accidentally kisses Alex goodbye and accidentally grabs Whitney's breasts. And Alex reminds him he said there were no accidents.
(Alex was very cute with the puppies. My favorite when he had a puppy in his shirt and said something like it was tickle time.)
