The New York Times proves it is worthless with a story today called “Obama Coalition Is Fraying“. We know many who voted for Obama are drenched in regret. But the Obama Coalition is a “situation comedy” demographic of African-Americans, the temporarily young, and well off gentry white liberals, not what the New York Times describes.
The Obama voters who are voting GOP this year were never part of the patchwork crazy-quilt Obama strategists and the truly stupid Democratic “leaders” envisioned as the new Obama Dimocratic Party.
The Obama “situation comedy” coalition in fact was a rejection of the winning coalition of FDR/Hillary Clinton. The “situation comedy” coalition was never a way to build a party. Now the consequences are clear as the snubbed and disenfranchise get the message and walk away:I don't know about anyone else, but I'm really holding my breath right now. It's as if the horrible nightmare could be over.
The scars of 2008 are not going to be forgotten by me. We had a chance for real change and we threw it away to go with a conman from Chicago who surrounded himself with White people, was a thug attorney for thugs and had a horrible, horrible reputation. It was known that he did no work in the Illinois senate long before the primaries were over. It was known that others did the lifting. But time and again, Barack was excused over and over.
I can remember how one excuse after another was offered when any of Barack's record of corruption was pointed out.
And I can remember the smear tactics that asshole and his disgusting friends used. That includes doctoring footage so that it appeared someone was using the n-word. Footage from the documentary The War Room.
And I can remember that Ben Smith knows who did that.
And I can remember that Ben Smith 'forgot' it was a reporter's job to tell us who did it.
There he was chatting with the editor of that doctored video. Has everyone forgotten that?
It's past time Ben Smith of Journolist was told to out the person who made that doctored video.
And the whole horrible nightmare could be over. If America rejects the pampered priss Barack in the mid-terms next Tuesday.
I am so hoping that is what happens.
