Other than that, I'm still on the topic of Desperate Housewives because I had some e-mail on it.
Favorite character? Three people asked that.
Renee ties with Susan.
I hope Renee's going to get a storyline. I didn't see any indication of that in Sunday's episode. Susan? She's really the one you root for. Lynette's just too pushy, too judgmental and thinks too highly of herself.
I'm beginning to like Marcia Cross as Bree. It was a huge step for Melrose Placer me to get used to Crazy Kimberly as another character. But I do like her. That's due to two things: her romance with Brian Austin Green and her frenemy status with Renee.
What about the blond who married the guy who's the killer and back on Wistoria Lane?
If she'd stood with her mother (who wants to get the goods on him), I could've seen it. But she walked out on her own mother and now I hope the guy kills her.
She adds very little to the show, if you ask me. (If you haven't watched this season, she's a new character who fell in love with the jailbird Paul. She's Beth and her mother is Felicia.)
I also think that, in this economy, Lynette's a joke. They can't afford a nanny! Oh, look, she'll quit her job and go into business with Renee. And not only can she afford to quit her job but minus a pay check, she can also now get that nanny.
I've left Gabby out of the above. Love the actress, starting to hate the character. I just feel very defensive about Juanita. If you've missed this season, Gabby and Carlos' daughter Juanita isn't their daughter. Supposedly. Supposedly, their baby was swaped with another baby at the hospital. Okay, I can go along with that. But when Grace looks like a little china doll while Juanita's an energetic child who likes to play and roughhouse, and when Gabby's all over Grace and ignoring Juanita, I just can't stand Gabby. Again, great actress but that character is not sympathetic or relatable -- my opinion.
