First, there was no "Desperate Housewives" last night. It was a TV movie ("Mean Girls II").
Second, Mayra e-mailed me to ask if I had seen the Center for Constitutional Rights doing something and if that was the sort of nonsense I was noting last week?
Mayra was noting an embarrassing "action alert" by CCR which calls for you to help stop Glenn Beck from talking about old Whitey Frances Fox Piven.
I won't even link to that trash.
It really is a White, NYC thing. No one else cares. Nor should they. (Read Ava and C.I.'s "TV: She wants you to fight her revolution" for a good take.) In the real world, a hunger strike was going on at an Ohio prison. And they won. They had a victory.
But you won't read about that at CCR.
It's more important to back up an elderly White person than to focus on prisoners refusing to be mown now by the prison industrial complex.
