It really seemed to grab for you, to basically and repeatedly ask: "How does this make you feel?" As though you were trapped in a marathon session on the couch.
Lynette. This is the main reason I didn't want to write last night about the show: She and Tom had a fight.
I wanted to sleep on it and be sure I agreed with Lynette. I do.
Tom had a big convention and invited Lynette to go along and showed her the brochure. She was thrilled because one of her favorite authors was speaking at the convention. Tom was so happy.
They get there and she's ready to go to a conference but is told she's a "plus one" (spouse) and that the spouses go elsewhere.
She is told this by a very rude woman who insults her.
And then she's patronized and insulted.
And Tom didn't get that there was a problem?
She asked him to pull some strings and get her in to hear the author and he refused.
It was nonsense. He invited her, he let her believe she would get to hear her favorite author speak, she got there and they segregate the spouses. He should have stood up for her.
He didn't. I generally like Tom better than Lynette but not this time.
I also didn't care for Gabby and Bree talking about Susan and how 'all Susan wants to talk about these days is her kidney transplant.
That really did not go down well with me.
Susan feels sorry for Paul, by the way. This is probably going to be one of those long range storylines that plays out for many episodes.
So Carlos told Gabby she and Bree couldn't hang around together anymore and Gabby ignored him. Carlos appeared to be amused but he was serious.
He needs to grow the hell up.
At the end, Gabby went over to Bree's. With her two daughters. Did Bree mind? Bree said she didn't. Only after they came in did she see the suitcase.
Carlos had been telling her that she had to choose between him and Bree and she kept telling him not to make her choose. He didn't. So now she's staying with Bree.
