I have no idea what's going to happen on the show in it's just announced final season.
I can tell you my fear. The knowledge that it is the last season means that it focuses on the core and ignores Renee.
Vanessa Williams being added to the cast is the only reason I watched the show. And I was all for her having to be rotated in big stories and small stories. But if they don't give Renee a really big story this season, all she was was a token.
I don't give a damn about Felicity Huffman and her b.s. marriage. I don't care about her White, White problems. Someone needs to tell her to grow the hell up, that America's in a recession and no one gives a damn about her whining.
Bree is an interesting character (and actually rich and appreciative of the fact unlike Felecity's character). Terri Hatcher remains the actress on the show. She's vastly underestimated despite the fact that regardless of what Susan's called on to do, Hatcher makes it believable. If there's one reason I'm especially glad I finally watched the show it was to see what a strong actress Terri Hatcher's become.
But I fear we'll be all about boring Felicity and her boring marriage and her boring problems and 'oh she's so brave' b.s.
So those are my thoughts on a season I haven't watched yet.
