Last night also saw the latest episode of Desperate Housewives.
First: What happened to the corpse?
The corpse of Gabby's step-father was discovered by workers working for the Australian guy as they dug up for the development.
Bree found this out. This was really a Bree episode and she came off better than anyone -- the actress. Susan and Lynette were upset when Gabby let slip about the blackmail letter. They were upset with Bree for not telling them.
Lynette and Renee (Vanessa Williams) ended up figuring out how to torpedo Tom's girlfriend with regards to Lynette's daughter; however, it also created a rift between Tom and the daughter so Lynette played noble and ended up crying alone in her mini-van. And that was about as interesting to watch as it was to read.
Gabby is worried she and Carlos might end up in prison (over the murder) so they attempted to get the gay couple to agree to take the girls -- Juanita and Celia. However, the girls have earned a reputation. So Gabby spent all day coaching the girls on what to say at dinner and they pretty much pulled it off but when everyone was in the front yard the garage door was noticed wher the girls had painted "Gays R stupid" or something like that.
So no on becoming guardians.
Susan? Teri's off on a non-story. Still battling with art teacher over whether or not she's an artist. At the end of the episode, she'd painted herself and the others around a grave of Gabby's step-father.
Back to Bree. She got honest with the Austrailian. He couldn't just hide the body like she wanted, he said.
Then the police officer she was dating showed up and started threatening her and the Australian defended her and ended up pouring concrete over the body.
It was really Bree's episode to shine.
