"I am human and I want to be loved . . ." Remember that?
It was the theme to "Charmed" for eight seasons. But apparently they couldn't get the rights to the one they used when the show was still in production because at Netflix, the theme is instrumental.
I miss the vocals.
Emily identified herself as a big, big big (three bigs in her e-mail) "Charmed" fan but hasn't watched the show since it went off the air She wonders if it feels different watching it now?
Well I remember being furious that this show was getting the axe. As UPN and WB merged to become CW, a number of awful shows ("Reba") were carried over to the new network. "Charmed" was not one of them. Despite the fact that "Charmed was a ratings hit for the net-lette. They thought they could do better than the Halliwell sisters and I am very happy that the bulk of their shows have failed to deliver that size of an audience.
It may be petty but, hey, like the theme used to say, "I am human . . ."
The other thing that stands out. I loathe Cole. I'd forgotten how much.
I'm up to the part in season four where he is repeatedly attempmting to drive a wedge between Phoebe and her sisters, where he torments and targets Paige. I'd forgotten all of that.
During this period, I also began to hate Phoebe and it was a good season or two before I could get over it.
