Lori Arronwood is her name. Russ Byunm (AP) reports that the body of the 42-year-old woman was discovered in the woods and that corrections officer Kenneth Lumpkin has been arrested. Caroline Black (CBS News) reports that Arronwood's husband is serving in Iraq. She had been missing since Saturday. Andrew Davis (WSAV) adds:
The family of another missing woman is hoping an arrest in the Lori Arrowood case may help solve their's.
Gail Moody went missing from her Ludowici home back in December of 2007. Authorities haven't been able to come up with any clues.
News 3 talked with Moody's mother, Melanie Clark Wednesday night. She says that Kenneth Lumpkin, the suspect in Lori Arrowood's murder, also knew Gail. He even lived down the street from her before her disappearance.
