I love that. But I love the smell of chicken even more. Meaning? We got fried chicken. The kids wanted KFC and so did Jess and Ty so we ended up getting chicken but I've got to blog before I can eat. Tonight, it's like homework. We don't have fried chicken very often. Maybe twice a year unless we're home in Georgia visiting family. I guess we're caught up in eating healthy. Which is good. But fried chicken? You need it more than twice a year!
It smells so good.
"Investigate, Investigate, Investigate, Prosecute, Prosecute, Prosecute, Imprison, Imprison, Imprison" (Hillary Is 44):
Republicans joined with Barack Obama and mocked Hillary Clinton in early 2008 when she advocated for transparency in online donations and in all campaign contributions. The Republicans eventually rued the day they mocked Hillary as Obama used the same Chicago finance tactics to raise money to beat John McCain.
In July of 2008 we wrote “Bagman Obama”. We noted then that Obama had displayed remarkable fight in his opposition to Von Spakovsky. The gentleman in question was a nominee to the Federal Elections Commission. Obama proclaimed his opposition to Von Spakovsky was high minded principle – but what Obama actually did was neuter the FEC while Obama raised tons of money out of sight and out of possible investigation.
Via loopholes Obama raised tons of money and 91 percent of his donors were not required to be reported to the FEC. A donor could give $199 repeatedly and never be reported to the FEC no matter that the contributions amounted to tens of thousands of dollars.
Obama has attacked the Chamber of Commerce in order to intimidate the Chamber and its allies. Today Barack Obama is happy with the Chamber because the Chamber is now doing some of what Obama wants. We’re not fans of the Chamber but they are legally entitled to do what they are doing.
If the Chamber is doing something suspicious then: Investigate, Prosecute, Imprison. Those in government engaging in unethical activity should also be investigated. We certainly think the latest (Andy Griffith appeared in the first series of ads) taxpayer paid for propaganda ads to advance Obama’s health scam will have to be investigated in the new Congress.Unless it's Iraq-related, C.I. ignores Barack as much as possible. But I remember when the Andy Griffith story broke, C.I. wrote:
Noting Barack Obama's weekly address given Saturday, Sarah Kliff (Politico) reports, "The address came shortly after the administration launched a months-long, multimillion-dollar television campaign featuring Andy Griffith to promote health reform's free preventive care and lower prescription costs." A multi-million dollar campaign? To sell what? A piece of crap legislation. Where's the money going? It's a PSA, where is the money going? Though no one in the press will bother to ask that question (look for those faux news segments on your local news trumpeting ObamaCare), note where it's not going: to address PTSD and veterans suicides.
And I agree. I want to know how you spent millions on a PSA? For those who don't know, public service announcements are cheaply made. You get the celeb to stand in front of the camera. How do you spend millions on a PSA?
If they did spend that, what a waste of money.
Kimberly from Melrose plays Bree on this show and they should pair Bree up more with Vanessa Williams' character because they have good chemistry together and because this is the first time I've thought of her as Bree and not Kimberly.
Terri Hatcher really is funny. Her character continues to try to make extra money by cleaning her apartment scantily clad -- while men stream online. She doesn't get enough credit -- my opinion -- for her work here. I've heard this show discussed and discussed but never watched until this season when Vanessa joined the show. A lot of people like Hatcher's character (Susan) but I don't think most even appreciate all that she's doing.
She was very funny.
Eva Longoria is so sad right now because Gabrielle's just opened her own pandora's box. The hospital claims that Juanita is not her daughter, that there was a mixup. And they were going to let sleeping dogs lie but now she's gotten an investigator who's tracked down her child. This led to a big fight with her husband who pointed out that just because they want to keep Juanita doesn't mean the other family will want to let go of Juanita.
Brian Austin Green. My only problem with his character is that Vanessa took him home. Did she bed him? We didn't get to see it. I thought this was unusual because if she didn't bed him, the character's not quite the temptress she's supposed to be. I thought this was supposed to be a racy show.
The best chemistry male and female is Brian Austin Green and the actress who plays Bree. The best chemistry female to female is Vanessa and Bree.
